I was called to the Bar of Ontario on April 12, 1976. I am certified by The Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Criminal Law. I was born, brought up and educated in Ottawa. I have carried on in the practice of law in the Ottawa area for over thirty years. My vast experience allows me to provide a heightened level of expertise in all areas of criminal law. When I assist you, you will feel comfortable and confident in the knowledge that you have retained representation which will guarantee that your rights will be protected and you will achieve the best possible result.
 
During the course of my career, I have appeared at every level of court in Canada and have successfully defended persons charged with murder, conspiracy, robbery, trafficking in drugs, assault, break and enter and various other criminal offences. I believe that I have earned the respect of the members of the Bench, the Crown and the police. This has facilitated the most beneficial results and effective representation for my clients who, over the years, have numbered in the thousands. I have also been very active in the community at the charitable level, having served more than ten years with the Children's Wish Foundation in many capacities including Chair of the National Capital Chapter and as a Director on the National Board and a member of the National Executive. I have been a trustee of The Carleton County Law Association for eight years, the last two as a member of the executive.		  


    I was for many years an instructor in criminal procedure at the Bar Admission Course, the last training a prospective lawyer received before he or she gets accredited to practice in the Province of Ontario. I continue to train and mentor new lawyers through education projects.
